ART INSTALLATION

With Bertrand Lanthiez, we designed and built Aperture 11, an interactive installation presented at Burning Man 2017 as part of the Honoraria Grant program. Inspired by the Apollo 11 lunar module, the piece invited participants to complete an electrical circuit by holding two flags, triggering a camera to capture their photo. Each black-and-white print included a QR code linking to its digital version, creating a living archive of over 600 portraits. The installation blended play, technology, and community… turning a symbolic space exploration into a shared human moment on the playa.
